Water is extremely cold due to late ice out. That means trout can be found anywhere in the water column, walleye are just starting to spawn and northern are very lethargic.
We’ve done very little fishing but Eric has been catching trout out in front of camp on small crank baits. Can even get trout off the dock this time of year. Now with fisherman in camp we’ll get a better idea of what their hitting on in the next few days.
