This year every driver of our boats will be REQUIRED to have the kill switch cord attached to their wrist AT ALL TIMES while driving the boat past no wake speed.
A private cottage owner on the lake and a friend were thrown from their boat a couple weeks ago when the boat made a sharp turn then came around and cut the one mans leg so severely he almost died. Last year I almost rolled a boat guiding by not having it on and making a simple mistake of taking my hand off the tiller for a second. Accidents happen so fast and help here is a long time coming.
